Colin

Colin Clayton is an electronics engineer and has been working at the Wolfson Centre, Great Ormond Street childrens Hospital for over 19 years. He is part of the Augmentative Communication Service - a multidisciplinary team assessing children who can not speak. He has made a number of electronic devices for people with disabilities - some for individuals, some as commercial products - remember the '8 Plus Eight'? Colin is responsible for the wiseDX project and designed and developed the hardware-firmware part of the project.

Chris
Chris Jones is a software development consultant. He began working in this field in 1996 as the programmer on the waacis email/internet project for people with disabilities. He has been working with Colin on the wiseDX since 1998, on a contractual and drinking basis. Chris is responsible for the wiseUP configuration software on the PC, although he has had considerable input into other areas of the project. Recently married to Vic, he now lives and works in Manchester for CODE Computer Love, but is still fully involved in the wiseDX.
