Setting up a Master Remote

If you do not know what the Dynamics 'PCD Wizard' is then this is not for you!
The Master Remote needs to be told that a wiseDX is in the system and what its relationship is, otherwise the wiseDX will not work.
You must use PCD wizard version 3.1 (not 3.5) to do this.

On the wiseUP CD (or downloads) there is a file called 'wiseDX for PCD'. This is a generic file that may need some of it's parameters modifying to meet a particular chair's requirements. Once this is done you can then write this file to the chair. You must have the wiseDX connected to the system and the unit must be turned on. You can write to 'UCM module only'. On completing the transfer turn off and on a couple of times, leaving a second or two between each. The status light on the Master remote should be on and not flashing.

More detail
You will need to install PCD version 3.1 to your computer and then add the 'wiseDX for PCD' file to it. The easiest way to do this is to simply install the Wizard PCD that is on the CD or download it from this site. It already contains the right files. Simply run 'Setup' to install- it will install to a directory C:/PCD31 on your computer.

Run the PCD wizard programme and READ the file currently residing in the chair - make a note/print out the file's parameters. Open the file called 'wiseDX for PCD' in the wiseDX group. This is a 'generic' wisedx for PCD file which may need some of its parameters changed -

to match the parameters currently in the chair (that you have now printed off). Write this file to the chair. You only need to 'write to UCM only'.
