In fact you can access more than a communication aid! Under your control the wiseDX will 're-route' the switches or joystick, that you were using for driving, through to any connected device. Typically this would be a communication aid. It's just like having your switches directly connected into your communication aid.

If you use a proportional joystick for driving then it will act as a 'switched' joystick when connected to your communication aid - but it doesn't have to be! You could use your joystick for driving and then operate your communication aid in a scanning method using just the forward and reverse joystick movements of the joystick - like two switches.

The configuration programme guides you through setting up connected devices. The wiseDX allows up to six devices to be directly connected - one or two is typical though.
