The wiseDX is extremely flexible and can be programmed to meet your changing needs and make the best use of your abilities.

The idea is that a rehabilitation professional and the user together set up an appropriate system together on a PC computer using the special configuration programme - 'wiseUP'. This will determine how the wiseDX will used by the user to drive the chair and operate other equipment. There is no need to be connected to a computer at this stage - there is some on screen simulation to help. When you are ready, you connect the computer to the wiseDX and download the file to the wiseDX. The wiseDX will then work as it did on the computer screen - but without the computer connected to it.

The 'wiseUP' configuration programme allows you to modify all aspects of the wiseDX including the way it scans (for some switch users), how other devices will be accessed and what other devices will be accessed. The resultant file can easily be added to or modified and downloaded again as the need arises. In this way the system can begin by being simple and grow at your pace. If your physical abilities are changing then the system can always be modified to meet your needs.
