The wiseDX may be suitable for someone who drives with an ordianry proportional wheelchair joystick but who wants to use the same joystick to operate other equipment. Such equipment could include remote operation of a computer mouse using the joystick, access to television, CD player, environmental control, etc. The wiseDX has a built in infrared transmitter to do this!

Furthermore, standard communication aids or other devices can be connected to the wiseDX and operated from the wheelchair's joystick.
