Learning to Drive

The wiseDX may be suitable for someone who was learning to drive with a single switch, using the scanner on the display. Alternatively it could be used with seperate switches - one for each direction. This person may start with learning to drive forward, left and right (under strict supervision) - so no driving where you can not see! The reverse direction could be added at a later date as required.

The wiseDX would also allow easy progression to more advanced and perhaps more efficient methods of driving as the user becomes more familiar with its possibilities.

Note: for some users the SMART chair (from Smile Rehab) maybe more appropriate with its line follower, active bumpers and other navigation tools that will assist the driver.
